Hy-Vee Dietitian shares easy to make tailgating snacks


As football tailgating season begins, registered dietitian Nicole Johnson offers several simple, easy-to-prepare and healthful recipes to enjoy either at home or at gameday tailgating parties. Frozen fruit cups and avocado, black bean and corn salsa can both be made the night before, and for a morning tailgate party, Johnson suggests an egg dish that incorporates spinach and tomatoes and uses an egg substitute to make it super easy.
