- Describe different types of wounds seen at the wound clinic & how to differentiate pressure wounds from others
- Learn about advanced treatment options available through the MGMC Wound Healing Clinic
- Apply nutrition assessment and treatment options utilizing evidence-based guidelines
- Discuss individualized treatment interventions for chronic disease and assess learning needs of the patient to promote wound healing

- Share updates to guidelines from the National Kidney Foundation for nutrition and hemodialysis
- Identify practical ways to individualize the renal diet when menu planning
- Discuss the CMS Dialysis Critical Element Pathway and importance of collaboration between the dialysis dietitian and the consultant dietitian working in long term care to promote optimal patient outcomes
