ADA Public Policy Workshop
Opening Session Kick-off Event - March 22, 2010

The Public Policy Workshop opening session will air live online March 22. Following the opening session, seven live Webinars are scheduled over the next four weeks. Join fellow ADA members across the nation as you hone your advocacy skills.
There are three ways to participate in the Opening Kick-off session.
1. Attend a Kick-off party – contact one:
a) Sister LaDonna is hosting a party at St. Luke’s Hospital, Diabetes Education and Nutrition Center, 810 First Avenue NE, Cedar Rapids, IA Phone: 319-369-8768
b) Kathy Moen is hosting party at Medical Library at Greene County Medical Center, 1000 W Lincolnway, Jefferson, IA Phone: 515-386-2114 x334
c) Teresa Nece/Jill Lange are hosting a party at Urbandale Public Library, 3520 86th Street, Urbandale, IA

2. Plan a Kick-off party for your dietetic district. One person needs to register as a group for $89 (reimbursed by IDA) and invite district members. Please notify Anne Tabor if you are planning a party.
3. View the Kick-off Webinar individually. Register on-line at ADA web page.
Those attending the parties and group sessions do not need to register and pay a fee online. Certificates for 1.5 CPEUs will be sent to the host of the group session for distribution to attendees. If you attend a group session, be certain you give the host your name and e-mail to receive your certificate
