Call for Poster Session Abstracts
Iowa Dietetic Association Annual Meeting
November 1, 2, 2006
Hotel Gateway Ames


The poster session provides an opportunity to share with colleagues from across the state projects that are innovative and effective in promoting nutrition messages and that RD's are the nutrition experts! Poster displays can include information obtained from formal research projects as well as other projects that have been successful in achieving outlined goals with measurable outcomes.

  1. Poster Session Display
    This will be a visual presentation of your program or activity that has successfully achieved project goals with measurable outcomes.
  2. Abstract Form
    One page abstracts should include, but are not limited to:
    1. Title and Author(s)
    2. Objective - narrative description of project
    3. Results - outcome measures
    4. Summary - benefits of sharing project with peers
  3. Display space and equipment
    A covered 6-foot table will be provided for each display. Participants are requested to bring their own display board.
